We're moving to SF to join HF0

Human connection, insulation, and illusion of progress.

There are a few things The Network team believes to be very true — specifically in building a company:

The power of human connection.

The essence of The Network, and every product, is meeting the right people. The internet is great for that, as are some cities, particularly SF.

The importance of insulation.

Focus is the only thing that matters. Lock the doors, shut the windows, and only let your team and customers in. Those are the only people who matter. Everything else is noise. Respond to your team and customers instantly — everything else comes later. At some point your small garage becomes the world stage, and everyone feels heard and part of the movement.

How harmful the illusion of progress is to startups.

"I should have gone to more conferences and dinners" - said no successful founder, ever.

If distractions are harmful, the illusion of progress is deadly. You should know what matters, and only feel good if that thing improves. Don't lie to yourself believing that going to that conference or event moved the needle for your startup.

It's okay to go, there's power in human connection! But be clear about if it helps or just feels good.

Why HF0?

After spending time with the HF0 team and prev batch, we saw how HF0 provides extreme insulation, while understanding the life changing impact of meeting the right people, and being clear about what progress is, and removing all the BS letting you focus on that.

We're joining the Sept - Dec 2025 batch (less than 1 month from the publication of this blog).

Can't wait.
